Artist’s Statement

I don’t presume to be a master at photography, that was not my area of study. I am a writer and a poet. Much like poetry, I can see a different angle of beauty that others may miss. My prints on canvas show my fascination with nature, something I feel I inherited from my Ojibwe grandmother. My inspiration comes from the special love I have for New England and the Connecticut River.
